Compatibility between motors batteries and chargers for the Polini E-P3 and E-P3+ systems

Polini system is about two types of motors models, three types of batteries and two types of “bottle battery” (additional battery).

MOTORS TYPES:

  • UART (E-P3 and E-P3+)
  • EVO (E-P3+ EVO)

MOTOR AND 500Wh BATTERY COMPATIBILITY

1. For UART motors
  • UART Batteries (955.830.001): Compatible (discontinued).
  • EVO Batteries (955.830.030): Compatible through the KIT 955.830.030/A (discontinued).
  • EVO 2 Batteries (955.830.058): Compatible through the KIT 955.830.058/A (photo).

CAUTION: Once the system has been converted for use with an EVO (or EVO2) battery, the original UART battery will no longer be compatible or usable.

2. For EVO motors
  • EVO Batteries (955.830.030):  Compatible.
  • EVO 2 Batteries (955.830.058): Compatible.

EVO ed EVO 2 batteries are interchangeable on the EVO motors.

BOTTLE BATTERY COMPATIBILITY

COMPATIBLE WITH EVO/EVO2 BATTERIES ONLY

1. EVO MAIN BATTERY AND EVO BOTTLE BATTERY
  • Full compatibility.
  • Automatic power-on of the Bottle Battery when connected to the main battery

2. EVO2 MAIN BATTERY AND EVO2 BOTTLE BATTERY
  • Full compatibility.
  • Automatic power-on no more available.

3. EVO MAIN BATTERY AND EVO2 BOTTLE BATTERY
  • Full compatibility.
  • Automatic power-on  not available.

4. EVO2 MAIN BATTERY AND EVO BOTTLE BATTERY
  • For correct operation, it is necessary to use the specific connection cable: 500Wh EVO2 battery → Bottle Battery, part no. 955.830.062.
  • Automatic power-on  no more available.
