PENULTIMATE ROUND OF THE ITALIAN E-BIKE

STEFANO PASSERI GREAT RULERS OF THE PENULTIMATE ROUND OF THE ITALIAN E-BIKE ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP WITH POLINI E-P3 MX

The fifth and penultimate competition of the 2020 season of the FMI E-Bike Enduro EBK Italian Championship took place on Sunday 25 October in Salsomaggiore (PR), with another race to be framed for Polini E-P3 motors, winners of the overall classification with Stefano Passeri, first in the OVER 35, and in the UNDER 35 with Thomas Oldrati, Fiamme Oro rider.

A selective race on a route of about 7,5 km organised in two special tests that were connected by a technical and funny section. The Enduro Test, about 1,2 km long, with travel times between 3/5 minutes, and the Cross Test, with a distance of 3,3 km of 6/8 minutes. Four laps, for a total of 8 special rounds.

In the OVER 35 class, Passeri dominated the race on the E-Bike Fulgur Mula powered by Polini E-P3 MX, finishing with about 20 seconds ahead of the second classified. An extraordinary result thanks to which the former Enduro champion confirmed himself as the best of the day with the first position in the overall classification.

Oldrati instead won the UNDER 35 class on the E-Bike Fulgur Mula, always with the Polini E-P3 MX motor, and remains firmly second in the championship despite having only taken part in three of the five races that where held at the same time with the Enduro World and National Championship. The rider from Bergamo was very good at obtaining the third position in the overall classification, followed by another Polini motorized athlete: Davide Burini who finished fourth in the classification, one step away from the podium, and third in the OVER 35 riding the E-bike Berria Mako and Polini E-P3 MX motor.

Now eyes on the sixth and final round of the Championship, scheduled for November 15th in Bibbiena (AR).
