GREAT START FOR POLINI-POWERED E-P3+ RIDERS IN ITALIAN FMI E-BIKE ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP


Opening race to be framed for Polini Motori of Italian E-bike Enduro Championship with 27 E-bike Polini-powered bikes at starting grid. The race is disputed on Saturday 16th April in Tuscany in Monsummano Terme (PT) and organised by Moto Club La Rocca.

Three special races in total: the first and the second downhill (to be repeated for two laps), as the third clocked race (the fifth of the day) proved to be decisive since it was all uphill. The 6° special race, once again all downhill until the finish line, closed the sport event.

In Overall classification, Francesco Danilo Petrucci (Focarini – Polini) ended up on the second step of the podium, behind Garibbo Andrea and Braconi Francesco.

E1 class reflects the overall classification on the first and second place, as Marcello Ghidini is on the third place (Fulgur – Polini), Andrea Pirazzoli fourth (Focarini – Polini) and Luca Ercoletti (Fulgur – Polini) closes the top five.

In EJ class (Junior), an excellent second place of Giuliani Riccardo (Fulgur – Polini) at his first experience in E-bike races and Bonatti Elia on the third place (Pedroni – Polini).

EV class (Veteran) was ruled by the legend Stefano Passeri (Fulgur –  Polini) who preceded his brand mate Andrea Rocchi (Fulgur – Polini) and Bonatti Luca (Pedroni – Polini). Cristian Resinelli ended up on fourth place (Fulgur – Polini).

EW class (Women), reserved for the girls, the two first steps of the podium have been conquered by Polini E-P3+ as the Fulgur motorcycles were driven by Alia Marcellini and Federica Amelio.

ES class (Senior), the win belongs to Eric Anselmo (SVM – Polini) before Matteo Gritti (Fulgur – Polini).

For Polini Engines, an excellent championship start, with 7 engines in the 10 first positions in overall classification.

Next race of national E-bike Enduro is planned for May 1st in Ceranesi (GE).
